Our Hiring Process

At The Management Group, we strive to bring in the most talented, experienced, and motivated people to our company. That’s why we have carefully and thoughtfully designed our thorough interview process to ensure we’re hiring the best of the best. We know that searching for a job can be challenging and overwhelming at times, so we provide full transparency into our process.

While each position is different and may not follow this exact formula, the steps below are typical of what an applicant can expect when they begin the interview process with TMG:

  1. Application Submission: You found which position you were interested in, and submitted an online application. You will receive an email notifying you of the status of your application.
  2. Application Review: We carefully review all applications submitted, ensuring you meet all of the qualifications for the position.
  3. Phone Interview: If your skills match the requirements of the position, you will be contacted via phone or email to schedule a phone interview with Human Resources.
  4. Interview: You passed the phone interview, and will now be invited for an in-person interview with the hiring managers.
  5. Pre-Employment Assessments: All of our positions complete some form of pre-employment testing, which is dependent upon the position requirements. This can include testing on the Microsoft Office suite, a live practical to assess customer service and problem-solving abilities, or a skills simulation for our maintenance positions.
  6. Personality Test: All of our full-time positions require the completion of our personality test, which we use in part to determine cultural and organizational fit.
  7. Meet and Greet: The last step in our interview process. You will be invited to meet with a panel of interviewers comprised of potential coworkers and members of management.
  8. Offer: A hiring decision is made, and you will be verbally offered the position. Upon acceptance, you will receive an email regarding the details of your employment.
  9. Screening: Prior to your first day, you must pass a drug screen and a background check.
  10. Onboarding: Congratulations – you’re now a part of TMG! Human Resources will be in contact with you regarding details of your first day, benefits eligibility, training, and other pertinent information.
