This Position:

As the Multi Project Foreman working in our Construction division, you will manage the various phases of an overall construction project. You will direct the work progress of subcontractors, direct reports, site personnel, and material suppliers, coordinate and implement work schedules to accomplish completion of each project by coordinating resources to produce finished products, and utilize contracts for services and suppliers to complete construction on schedule as established. Your time will be spent in the field and performing various administrative duties. The schedule will be Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4:30pm, with occasional overtime.

You Are:

  • An experienced professional with at least 3 years' related experience working on large scale multifamily or similar construction projects.
  • A motivated self-starter who is detail-oriented, well-organized, and works well in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Knowledgeable in construction terminologies, sequences, blue prints, and project specifications.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

You Will:

  • Directly supervise employees and/or contractors: train employees by planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance in a timely manner; reward and discipline; approve hours worked; address complaints and resolve problems.
  • Establish and maintain standards for general site conditions for safe working conditions, safety procedures, and cleanliness.
  • Monitor and ensure the achievement of construction schedules for various projects.
  • Monitor and regulate on-site waste management plan.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other employees, and resolve complaints, construction problems, and grievances as they arise.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in proper working order and monitor inventory control, staging, and procurement of construction materials.
  • Assist the Superintendent with RFI's, submittals, and other document controls.
  • Run or participate in the progress, planning, and scheduling of meetings, keeping minutes as required.
  • Communicate with the corporate office regarding any employee, subcontractor, or supplier issues that may affect operations.
  • Assist in obtaining development and building permits from municipalities.
