This Position:

You will serve as the Onsite Property Manager at the newest multifamily property addition to TMG. This luxurious property is located in Vancouver, WA, has 135 units, and is in the final stages of construction. The position is ideal for a seasoned property manager, someone who has experience with lease-ups, or for the person eager to take their career in property management to the next level. In addition to a base wage, this position will receive commission for all leases and renewals.

You Are:

  • Customer service-oriented: You have a positive attitude, and are willing to do whatever it takes to ensure your residents are taken care of. You love working with people, and are excellent at turning an upset resident into a happy one.
  • Communication Pro: You possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You manage numerous calls and emails with ease and professionalism. You're adept at managing relationships with tenants, owners, employees, and peers. You also have a sense of humor, and can interact with people of all walks of life.
  • Organized: Working in property management takes excellent organizational skills. From managing tenants, site staff, vendors, in addition to staying on top of projects, you have a system to keep everything on track.
  • Dedicated: You can always be depended upon to get the job done in the most efficient way possible, are meticulously detail-oriented, and have top-notch multitasking and time-management abilities.
  • Educated and Experienced: You have an Associate's Degree or a GED/high school diploma, and previous property management experience. If you have previous supervisory experience, that's even better.

You Will:

  • Directly supervise a staff of 0-3, including a Leasing Consultant and a Maintenance Technician. You will provide coaching and feedback, ensuring expectations are met.
  • Manage leasing activity on a daily, weekly, and monthly goals, ensuring goals are met.
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of the maintenance staff, including apartment turnovers, plumbing or electrical malfunctions, painting, and landscaping.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual operating budget, review and approve property expenses, and authorize expenditures.
  • Oversee administrative functions such as rent collection, bank deposits, lease renewal management, payable functions, weekly and monthly reporting and file management.
  • Handle all resident-related issues; ensure staff is focused on improving resident satisfaction through all interactions.
