This Position:

As an Associate Business Manager working in the HOA division, you will provide administrative support to our team of Association Business Managers in accordance with property management contracts, bylaws, and declarations of the associations. This position is ideal for the property management professional with HOA experience seeking development and new opportunities; TMG promotes from within, and success in this role will provide you with the fundamental skills and knowledge necessary to become an Association Business Manager, where you will manage a portfolio of homeowners associations. 

You Are:

  • Customer Service-Oriented: You have a positive attitude, and are willing to do whatever it takes to ensure our clients, customers, homeowners, and Boards of Directors are taken care of.
  • Communication Pro: You possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You communicate in a professional manner at all times, easily connect with people of all walks of life, and tailor your message for each individual or party.
  • Knowledgeable: You are familiar with property management and the intricacies of homeowners associations; you stay abreast of all regulations and bylaws, are an expert at solving difficult issues, and come up with innovative and creative solutions to solve problems.
  • Educated and Experienced: You have an Associate's Degree or a GED/high school diploma, and a thorough knowledge of homeowner association management.

You Will:

  • Assist and follow directions from assigned community manager.
  • Maintain all applicable databases and update community websites; develop a strong familiarity with all information to answer questions from clients and customers as needed.
  • Publish association newsletters and coordinate delivery and mailings.
  • Coordinate and arrange association meetings, prepare agendas, book facilities and coordinate refreshments, and record and transcribe minutes of meetings as directed.
  • Organize and maintain file system, create new forms and maintain procedure manuals, and file correspondence and other records.
  • Assist accounting services as needed including the compilation of annual budgets and with collection activities for delinquent assessments.
  • Acquire bids from vendors and schedule and coordinates maintenance and landscape walks on behalf of community manager.
